Went on a Sunday afternoon with my family. The hostess seemed to be pissed off to have to work that day. Mind you she was the hostess, bar tender and waitress at one point. Apparently we were in no mans land and no one wanted to wait our table. After waiting about 10 min water was brought over... I assume it was tap water. While other tables got bottles of water we got a single 1/2 glass per person!! at this point we put in our orders in case no one come back! We never got a drink menu(we weren't even told the options) and we couldn't see the chalk boards. My burger was a mess. The lettuce was old and wilted. The bun was so greasy it was hard to hold on to! And the patty was a frozen patty!! My child's was a slider, for $5 we got a single slider and a few fries. We were supposed to get a kids drink with it. But they never brought it out!! No pickles or chips or any condiments with our burgers! For $10 I would expect ketchup on the table! Save yourself some time and money eat somewhere else!
The Gale Motor co. Pitstop is a new resteruant that has become my personal favorite. The food is amazing, and the prices are just right. Make sure to stop in at the Gale Motor co. Pitstop, I highly recommended it!
I stopped by on my way back to Boston and tried the margarita pizza and the American burger, which I ordered as a double. The burger was nice, juicy, and fresh. I also got the buffalo fries, as I appreciate having different fry options. Next time, I’m going to ask if they can make a kitchen sink fry!
Oh, what a frustrating experience! They really nickel and dime you here! The burger is $10, but once you add onion, mayo, and bacon, it jumps to $14.95. And don’t forget the $3 extra for fries, which don’t come with the burger! I tried their version of a wedge salad, but it was really just a side salad with some bacon bits—definitely not what I expected. The shrimp I ordered on the side tasted pre-cooked and lacked that fresh snap. That salad ended up costing $15! Plus, the restaurant doesn’t inform you about the extra charges for things like onions, mayo, and bacon until you get your bill. The burgers were cooked well and juicy, but even so, they aren’t worth nearly $20. We won’t be returning. Be cautious when dining here!
