Jolly Drover - Liss

We enjoyed our first Sunday roast here today, and it was fantastic! I had the delicious minted lamb pie with mash, while my partner opted for the bacon and lamb liver accompanied by mash and a platter of seasonal vegetables and parsnips. The food was superb and made with all local ingredients. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert, but we’ll definitely return to try the crumble and sticky toffee pudding. Thank you! Rooms: 5

This charming village pub serves excellent food, though I didn't have a chance to try it myself. The selection of beers is impressive, and the staff are very friendly. Overall, I would rate the service and location both as a perfect 5.

Used to be a wonderful Steak Kidney Pie, and a great pint. Yesterday, Doombar wasn't good and service seemed annoyed about something. Service: 3
