We ordered an all-you-can-eat seafood platter and squid ink pasta. The pasta was alright; the sauce was a bit too heavy. The all-you-can-eat seafood platter did not have fresh food and came with a limited amount of food. When asking for more oysters, the servers had a very neglectful attitude. We went home hungry.

Great location in Commerce Square and that’s about it. Tourist trap. The experience was uncomfortable because the poor waiters were running around in a hectic frenzy trying to take care of the customers. Food was subpar, we left dishes untouched. Couldn’t wait to leave.

It is located at the Praça do Comércio so one would expect it was catered for tourists, and considering its price point it probably was. We had the Rodizio de Marisco which was the AYCE deal at 34.8 euros per head. We were initially served a large plate of seafood combo, which had plenty of prawns, clams, mussels, oysters, crabs and stuffed crabs. And we had to finish them all (or close to finishing them) before we could order a second round which could be anything we wish from the above list. All the food was fresh, it's the taste that's lacking. The prawns were large but tasted average. The clams were very salty. The mussels and crabs also tasted average. We didn't finish the stuffed crab as it has an acquired taste. The oyster was the highlight and we re-ordered them. There was no time limit but we finished in a 1.5 hr. The service was attentive but I only gave 3 stars because: a) the food tasted average and at that price point in Portugal I would have expected better even at a tourist location, and b) the goose barnacle was on the AYCE menu and it was THE item I was looking forward to as I have never tried it, but they didn't have any and I was not told until the dish was served and when I noticed it is missing and had to ask for it. I felt they should have been upfront about this and told me when I was placing my order, quite disappointing really. If I had known there would be no goose barnacles, I would probably had re-considered ordering this deal. If you are looking for a nice photo shoot, this is probably a good place.

An incredible seafood restaurant. A large a wonderful selection of seafood in a large dining hall. It was enjoyable just watching the assorted platters zoom past to family groups. We especially enjoyed the roasted octopus and garlic prawns. Service was very good , but don’t get seated near the washroom, as folks squeeze by your table.
