Dreamland Arts & Crafts Cafe - Lipa

The restaurant was very Instagram-worthy due to the artistic decor. We were impressed by the cool design of the cafe!

Waiters and waitresses were friendly, but I waited around just for the ceasar salad and some potato wedges to go. The place wasn't full at the time, just big group, a couple of smaller groups so I felt like they forgot about my...order and only started to do it when I followed up after I ordered.

We didn't try their food since we were still full, so we ordered their shakes instead. Place was full, mostly students. It's an open mic/mike cafe and while we were there someone read his own poetry aloud.

This restaurant is amazing. The decor is artsy and charming. The food is excellent. Unfortunately, there is no WiFi and my cellular network was also down when I visited. However, this did not detract from my overall experience. I have been there twice and will definitely go back.

I had been eager to visit this restaurant and finally had the chance to go with my high school best friends. The interior of the place exceeded my expectations, with the lighting creating a dreamlike ambiance. The wall decors included dream catchers, Bob Marley photos, colorful ukuleles, and other items that gave the place an indie vibe. There was a standing microphone for customers to sing during open mike sessions, which added to the fun atmosphere. I would give the place two thumbs up for its ambience. However, when it came to the food, there were some disappointments. The lemongrass tea was bland, tasting like hot water with a hint of ginger. The Long-a-dream dish was enjoyable, with a unique ground pork flavored longganisa. The chick-a-dream and guyabano tea were underwhelming, resembling home-cooked fried chicken and plain water with a sour aftertaste, respectively. One of my friends ordered tapsilog, but the nachos we ordered never arrived despite multiple follow-ups, so we ended up canceling the order. The staff were nice but not attentive or organized, despite the restaurant not being full. Despite the food and drink letdowns, I still enjoyed the place for the atmosphere and the opportunity to chat and laugh with my friends. I may give the restaurant another try in the future to sample their best sellers and coffee. For now, I will remember the ambiance and experience.
