An older relative said to eat here after we heard we had a hotel nearby. I'm glad we came to breakfast. We were warmly welcomed by the family/owners (occupied) and a beautiful case of pastries. Our server was Edwin-professional friendly personal service. I had eggs Benedict, this is my way to travel (or biscuit/gray). I had either in almost every state. My balls Benedict were near the best I had. Maddie had the turkey omelette. You fill your dish with home potatoes that fulfill a lumberjack. A very diverse amount. Everyone seemed to enjoy the place and was not going in a hurry. Our food was great. The manager was also attentive without being intrusive. Well-run restaurant. Music played on the perfect level that is rare.

Attention. Large selection and variety. Delicious food. Appropriate prices. Clean and spacious dining room. Comfortable location with lots of parking. Accompanying to groups. For a snack, a dessert or a complete meal, South Bay Diner is a good choice.

Stop for lunch and remember how good this diner is. It's a bit far for me, but I wish it was in my hood. Had a reub that was tasty and my fiancé had a Patty Melt that was also excellent. The waiter was so nice and on his game that it was a fast bite exceptional.

Got the honey chicken sandwich with bread and butter pickles that came with fries, coleslaw and a pickle to go and it was delicious! Would come back.
