Red Lobster - Lincolnwood

I hadn't visited this restaurant in a while, but I enjoyed the food! We ordered the two pick three shrimp for $22, which included shrimp scampi and coconut shrimp, as well as the pick two dragon shrimp for $18 (mildly spicy, sweet and sour battered fried shrimp and shrimp scampi, seafood stuffed mushrooms, and chowder). The coconut shrimp was very good and the stuffed mushrooms were well-prepared and tasty. The chowder and biscuits were also delicious, although the biscuits were a bit crumbly. We took advantage of the $5 drink special, which offered a limited choice of wine, Blue Moon beer, or a margarita-like cocktail. We called ahead to inquire about the wait time on an early Saturday evening and were told it was 15 minutes, so we put our name on the list, even though we were 45 minutes away. We were seated shortly after arriving, although it was a bit odd that we were placed in the back section, especially since my elderly mother was with us. The service was a bit mixed, with our server being a young lady who brought our food out in a somewhat disjointed manner. We had to ask for a straw for my mother's lemonade and for the biscuits multiple times. Packing up our leftovers was a bit challenging due to the crowded table. When it came time to pay the bill, the server seemed impatient, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. Despite these issues, we appreciated that the tip was calculated on the total including taxes. We left a $21 tip on a $120 bill and would consider returning for the food, hoping for better service next time. Parking at the large Lincoln Square mall lot was difficult on a Saturday night, but we were thankful for our handicap permit.

Went here to eat with my family and the biscuits didn't taste the same, everything about the food didn't taste so good. Especially, the Coleslaw, that was disgusting! The only thing that was good was the Ultimate Feast. But I won't be coming back here and neither will my family. Our waiter was very nice, but our only complaint was the biscuits, the Alfredo, and the Coleslaw, and the food. My family has been customers of Red Lobster for years and to see the food change and not taste good like it once was is disappointing We think the reason is because, the cooks who once were there are no longer there and there's new people who can't cook Parking: It was crowded, due to Olive Garden's customers taking up the parking, I think Olive Garden and Red Lobster should have their own parking Lot
