Williemacs - Lincolnton

I was only a handful of time at Williemac, but every time I have the same experience. The restaurant itself is very well done. It is a great place right at Clark Hills Lake near Soap Creek Marine, which appeals to boaters. The dining area is very clean and nice. The staff is very sweet. However, they seem to be very short staff and not to have many chefs working. Every time I go, it's at least an hour waiting for your dinner. I waited till two hours. Normally, it doesn't matter to be patient and to understand, but to wait that every time I go is very disappointing, and I hate to say that, but every time the food was cold, the waiting staff seems very stressed and constantly apologizing for long waiting times. A beautiful place to go when you are looking for a good sea atmosphere are ready to wait a long time for your food. If you're looking for something fast and easy, I wouldn't recommend it. Definitely a restaurant with a lot of potential when some problems are solved.

Food was decent, the sides were esp nothing fancy. Poor staff seemed overworked but it was very crowded on Friday! We had an hour wait. They have a very large deck and had live music going, which everyone was into. They also had a separate bar out on the deck.

Aways great. Always busy. Fun place with music on the patio. Biggest disappointment is that they are only open Thursday through Saturday. Wish they were open on holidays and more weekdays through the Spring and Summer.

We had an early Mother's Day dinner tonight with my wife and two daughters. The restaurant was quite busy, but after about 35 minutes, we were seated on the back deck. The wait was definitely worth it! I ordered the pecan-crusted chicken with grottos and pasta salad as my side dishes. The chicken breast was incredibly tender and coated in a delicious pecan crust. My wife enjoyed the shrimp with slaw and hush puppies and raved about the crepes. I tasted the slaw and hush puppies and was really impressed. Everything tasted fresh, and the flavors complemented each other nicely. The staff was friendly, and service was surprisingly quick once we were seated. The atmosphere was lively with live entertainment, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. My family will definitely return soon, and we highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

Oh my gosh! This place has amazing food and great music. It's definitely a must-visit experience. The journey here is truly worth it. Make sure to arrive early, or be prepared to wait. Casual attire is perfect since it’s located by the lake.
