The only reason I gave food four stars instead of five is I wish that all Captain D's would have smaller fish served by the ounces with Southern style cornmeal breading. Not sure what kind of fish it is but it's thick enough and 5 oz comes on a meal which is about 8 to 10 small fish fillets. They also have an option where you can buy just fish in 8 oz servings. When I do stop there in Marion which is nearly an hour and a half from my home, I usually reheat the fish in my toaster oven. It has a great flavor as well as not greasy like the battered can beIf I'm not mistaken, I believe the Captain D's in Marion North Carolina off of Sterling Street has been by far the best Captain D's as far as food and their service is impeccable.Parking: Actually the inside dining had no customers. The handicap parking space was close to the door or close enough,Wheelchair accessibility: Although I don't use a wheelchair yet my first thought when I went in the bathroom was this is a great restroom for a handicap person. All of the supplies were nicely stocked in that bathroom
Decent food and usually good service. However during last visit we got our food to go as the dining area was full. We got home which is about a 20 minute drive and had wrong food. I called and they knew right away it had happened and did offer to replace our food. 20 minute drive back there. Got an apology but no offer of a future discount or anything which was disappointing given gas prices..Check your bag if you get it to go...
Went last night for a quick bite before I had had to pick my child up from somewhere. Nobody was in the drive thru line so I thought it wouldn't be too time consuming. I ordered the spicy fish sandwich meal. The frizzy haired older woman who took my order told me it would be a little bit on the fish. I asked her about how long because I had to pick my son up very shortly. I was told 3 minutes. 10 mins later, after witnessing a bunch of hooting and hollering and a big social event for the workers there (sarcasm), I finally got the attention of the aforementioned lady. Evidently, my food had been there at the window for a while by the haphazard way she sort of threw it all together. The fish sandwich wasn't spicy, was a regular sandwich and soggy and the few fries she threw in there were lukewarm at best. Look, I get having fun at work but people are still paying good money for food to get this kind of treatment. And let's not forget the manager who kept walking right past the window, part of the big social event as well.
All I can say the chicken was cooked well , the fries weren't all that , the service was good . The girl that waited on us was very friendly .
Not very friendly sat there at the window for 5 mins before anyone came to speak to me then was rude about it. Food was good though
