Kewpee Hamburgers - Lima

First time to this burger restaurant. I was impressed with this location. All of the staff there are professionals and they all had great customer service.

Best not only sandwich place but the in town kewpee is and has always been my favorite Kewpee Parking: It's just a little compact Kid-friendliness: I can remember eating there with my grandma and grandpaply like the sign says and I think of them Everytime I'm in there

Historic fast food restaurant. While it has the typical hamburgers (which were amazing) and fries (which were okay) but they also have frosted malts and fresh pies. This location isn 't fancy but the historic nature is fun and the food is worth it. Of note is the turntable at the back of the parking lot that was used, years ago, to turn cars around after using the drive through.

Gave 5 stars a year or so ago, but have to change it for what it is. Stopped here and got three sandwiches, two fries, a drink, and two malts. Now I know it takes a while at Kewpee, but I hadn't even ordered and waited 45 minutes. Got to the order box, gave my order, rhe person waited forever to reply, and repeated the order back. Must have been what he wanted to order because it was nowhere near what I had ordered, not even the drink was right. Another 20 minutes go by and I finally got to the pick up window, only to br met with someone who stared at me for an uncomfortable amount of time, take my card, stare at it like he just discovered fire, and ran the card. 10 more minutes went by and I have my food. Get home, which is on my a six minute drive, and the burgers were cold, fries were cold and soggy. Plus, meat is thin as it gets, I could eat newspaper and get better texture and flavor. I use to come here all of the time with my dad when I was younger, heck, he was there so often I'm surprised they didn't name a table after him, and I continued going to Kewpee for many years after, and i never thoughtthis place would end up like this. But now, I just don't think I can do that. Waiting in line that long is insane, ans I know it's not fully the employees fault, people in Lima are strange about their Kewpee. But employees could step up and actually work while getting paid for it. I understand what the owners are dealing with, you got people that don't want to work, or only want a check. But in the end, thr customer suffers, especially when you have stoner younger people working that just don't care. Hope you guys figure it out.

KEWPEE has been on my burger bucket list for a long time. We finally made it there and we were not disappointed. We went to the Elizabeth Street location at lunch time. The drive thru was busy but we easily found seating inside. I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries and a chocolate malt and my wife got a hamburger with ketchup and pickle. The people working the counter were very friendly. Ordering was fast and easy. The food came out quickly and was very good. The burgers were bigger and much better than I expected. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We will be back.
