Joe's - Ligonier

A great hole in the wall bar in a, beautiful, small town. Fantastic service and good music.

You have to come to Joe. Joe is a legend , a master hunter who traveled Africa and brought home his animals. Go through the bar and you're greeted with Joes amazing collection. All just one mans collection. This hidden gem is right on the main street, don't miss it! The staff is amazing and the people are friendly. No cliques. You're a friend when you walk in!

You just have to see it and appreciate the work the late Joe Snyder has put into it. Take my word.

I hardly know how to describe this place—it's one you really have to experience for yourself! The bar itself is quite nice, but they only accept cash (hence the four-star rating). Interestingly, the owner of this bar previously worked for National Geographic, where he hunted animals for taxidermy. So what did he do with all those taxidermy animals? He opened a bar and decorated it with them, just like anyone would! It's a fascinating mix of great, sad, and strange. Definitely worth a visit, especially since there's no entrance fee!
