I'm looking for the best breakfast in KC. This morning was the best around the breakfast restaurant. We started with cappuccino's who were delicious. Then the breakfast came. Chocolate chip pancakes that were really a pancake. They had a nice selection of pancakes. My companion had the Ginger classic. The bisquits were moist and fluffy on the outside with one side of gravity. Bacon was embarrassing and sweet. You could taste the apple taste. Breakfast potatoes were tasteful. I recommend Govto Ginger Sues to start your day. There are 3 locations in the KC area. Make sure you get there early, so you can sit back and enjoy the meal. The prices were good.
Crab Benedict. Slightly under-seasoned hollandaise sauce, nicely cooked crab, and excellent portion. It's served with a side of seasoned potatoes, which compliment it well.
It was September 1. I waspretty excited to visit this place; we'd heard good things, it was a beautiful day on the square in Liberty and we didn't want a big meal. So we walked into the restaurant a little over an hour before it closed for the day. I realized that's a little bit close, but it's a brunch place so that's usually quick and we knew what time that closed so we'd have been quick. There were three employees behind the front counter. When we walked in. We were sort of acknowledged, one employee immediately turned around and walked the other way, one was doing something with the menus and sort of angrily muttering under her breath, and one was just kind of standing there. After a minute or two someone else came up and actually took us to a table. That, however, was the last we saw of anybody. It wasn't busy and we waited probably 5 minutes. Nobody showed up at the table. So we left. I wish I could comment on the food but, cannot. .
Today we had 20 friends enjoy a great breakfast at Ginger Sue's in Liberty. Although it was a rainy morning, all braved the weather and enjoyed the outing.
