Lotus Pad Asian Cuisine

Awesome! Made the reservation on open table, I did request lower level seating but was put at a high top. It was no big deal, the seats were comfortable. Our server was super knowledgeable and helpful with the cocktail menu. Also so glad she informed us of the portion sizes! They are huge. We got an appetizer and the chicken pad Thai to share with 2 fried eggs (which are extra). The spice was perfect, there’s a subtle smokiness to the dish...it was the best we’ve EVER had! We definitely will be returning for date nights, we’ll be bringing the kids for family dinners, and we will be ordering a lot of takeout. So glad to find this gem!

The restaurant had a bit of an awkward interior with a very tight area to sit in while waiting but when we were finally escorted to our table it got better. As for the soup I ordered, by the name of Tom Yum it was absolutely delicious and incredibly spicy- maybe the spiciest meal I've ever had at a restaurant. The soup didn't appear too creamy and felt healthy, until I took it home in a box and after leaving it in a fridge it froze into a solid chunk of lard! I almost puked. How could this apparently healthy soup be jello now? What the heck did they throw in there? That is why my liver was aching all night. May have to ask them what ingredients they used in that soup… just out of curiosity...

Food was good. We had a good waiter. The only thing I did not like was our dinners came out separately. I think the thought is sharing meals
