We ordered a regular cheeseburger and I was hungry, so I ordered a double. This burger was amazing and the biggest burger I've ever had. The bungalow tasted freshly baked and the meat was perfectly and very juicy. The pimples were crispy and the vegetables were fresh. Absolutely one of the best burgers I've ever had. The onion rings were hot and crispy and you have to try their broken frits. We ate them so fast we forgot to make a picture. They also have amazing desserts.... their lemon pound cake was so moist and tasty definitely a new favorite. You have to try when you're in Liberty Hill!
Small family style restaurant. Great service, excellent food! I had the chicken fried steak burger, my daughter had the hatch chili burger. Both burgers had super fresh ingredients, yummy buns and were huge! The sweet tea has a hint of orange, but not in a weird way... really good! The best of all though were the onion rings! Seasoned and crispy... so amazing and a huge serving!!!
This is a great place to get a REAL size burger! They were delicious and you get plenty of fries. The beer batter fries are delicious! I was a little hesitant based on the outside of the building but it's very nice and cozy inside with great service.
This place was bustling with cars between 1 and 2 PM on Saturday. The Major Cheeseburger was quite good; the meat was tender and not overcooked. The burger was topped with just the right amount of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and pickles. Although I don't usually eat burgers, I really enjoyed this one. The beer-marinated fries with the jalapeño ranch dipping sauce were a perfect pairing. The fries were crispy without being overly greasy, so they didn't leave oily spots on my fingers. The original fries were also quite tasty. I would definitely return here after a morning of hiking.
This was my first visit to the restaurant. The burgers were quite good and large, but I had only requested onions on mine, and it was literally piled high with grilled onions—enough for at least four burgers! A little onion goes a long way. On the positive side, the beers were excellent, and the service inside was efficient. However, the drive-thru seemed to be very slow, as several cars were still sitting in line. My wife ordered the onion rings, but I found them unimpressive—bland and overly thin. Next time, I think I’ll give the shrimp or chicken a try. The indoor seating is limited, but there is also a covered outdoor terrace.
