Sunview Cafe - Lewisville

They were short staffed and still got all our food in less than 15 minutes. The manager ? was so attentive and was helping everyone. Such a great experience and high quality service. Will come here again!!!

Only giving 2 stars because the breakfast burrito was good. Was seated and ignored for 10 minutes after seeing two tables get drinks and orders taken who were seated after us. Asked for a coffee and a water, never got a water, and coffee was never refilled. Boyfriends water was not refilled either. Eggs, bacon, and french toast were cold. Our table was walked past several times, server even walked past our table with my credit card and receipt, didn't drop it, and went into the kitchen for a different order before dropping it off. I worked in restaurants and did breakfast for quite a while and I typically don't leave reviews, but this place was extremely disappointing. From food, to service, and the overall of it was not worth spending money or time here. I was hopeful because we live really close.

These people are in America and need to understand English better. Need to know how to cook very soft scrambled eggs. Very soft scrambled eggs are very wet looking with a very very little bit of runny egg. If you scramble them till they get that dry look they are already way overcooked for very soft scrambled eggs. But, their food is good and they are very polite. But, language barrier makes it now unto impossible to describe nuance preparation requests and other detail oriented requests. It appeared that they have developed a clientele so I know they are good.

This is under new ownership. We miss the old ownership. Imagine if you will a breakfast restaurant without lemons without hot water without salsa for the eggs. That serves precooked bacon so when you order your bacon well you don't get it that way. When you order an omelette and it comes out of scrambled eggs and the server tells you that the menu doesn't say it comes out as an omelet. And then you have her read the menu and she sees that she's wrong. Imagine if you will flies buzzing around on a cold November day in the dining room. To say that our experience here was awful is an insult to the word awful. Do not waste your money here we hope we don't get sick with the food we just ate. This place needs to be looked at by the health department. So other than the environment the service and the food being poor this is a great place to eat. I would love to give it zero Stars but Google review doesn't allow that.

It was my first time coming in Sunview! Such beautiful people and very hospitable! I ordered a salad ? and it was delicious and very filling! I live for big portions hunni!? Y’all have to check them out! Nice!?
