East Village Green Delicatessen

This is a reliable deli and our favorite spot in the area for an egg sandwich or a BLT. The owners are consistently friendly and the food is always delicious.

I ordered two sandwiches, but the bread was so stale that it was unpleasant. It was quite disappointing.

Their egg sandwiches are pretty good but do yourself a favor and don't get the tuna it's sour and dry Tuna is not supposed to taste like that. I took one bite then threw it out . They definitely need a new recipe.

Their deli salads are old school something sorely lacking with most delis on the island these days. Now I don't have to make a special trip to Carle Place for my potato, macaroni and coleslaw. They also make excellent hot meals. Great food and moderately priced
