The restaurant still looked like when I remembered the pizza on the disc, and a seating area on the back. It looked really the same as in the '90s, but not dated (if the meaning makes). The food was delicious. I had calves with spaghetti. The only thing that differs from my childhood is that the bread bowl did not have the sesame bread sticks, but when I went next to the bakery where they came, they did not sell the bread sticks anymore, so I think the times change.
That was my family's pizza all my life. I live out of the state and had to order my dad a dessert for father's day while he was one, and I wanted to pay with my card over the phone. As annoying as this whole process can with giving the card number and frigging run with bad reception and all. This kind of patient men working on this place were prompt and professional with my order and payment via the phone and bring the Cannoli to the guy in the Mets T-shirt who ordered a small pizza. The manager immediately knew who I was talking about, gave the Cannoli and wished him a happy Father's Day in my name. No wasted and very inexpensive desserts. Great food, great service, great staff! Get the fried zucchini.
The waiter was a true professional and his timing was impeccable. The restaurant has a great ambiance, an old world feel, elegant without being stuffy.
The food at this restaurant is reliably excellent, prepared with fresh ingredients. It's a wonderful spot to support. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend sitting down to savor a nice meal. However, even if you're short on time, the food is just as delicious when taken to go. The staff is very friendly, and the entire establishment is well-managed.
The restaurant was outstanding. I began with a slice of pizza, followed by a serving of meat lasagna. My friend ordered the same, while his wife chose the baked ziti parmesan. She gave it a 9 out of 10.
