Hoong Palais Thai - Lévis

The waiter was wonderful and appeared in anyway not stressed with the number of tables he had to serve. We loved you to bring your own wine! Food is much more expensive, then we have experienced somewhere else and we often go for Thai food. The portions are not at the expense! $30.00 for Thai food seems angry. The red chicken cure was very good; the chicken basil was not so delicious. It seemed as if many people ordered the pad Thai that our daughter ordered, and that's certainly a better blow for your money. The amenities were clean and staff friendly.

Tonight is the final night of our Carnaval road trip and we decided to go out without any specific plans in search of a place to eat. We stumbled upon this restaurant located in a commercial area of town. We opted for their table d'hote special, which included soup, salad, a main course, and dessert, and we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the green curry chicken, my son had the red curry shrimp, and both my wife and daughter chose the pad thai. The portions were generous and the curries had a nice balance of coconut and spices. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we would definitely return to this restaurant.

Do not let the exterior of this restaurant deceive you. Once inside, you are transported to a true Asian atmosphere and decoration. While the menu may appear pricey at first, it is comparable to other well-respected Asian restaurants. The portions are generous and the flavors are incredibly satisfying, providing great value for your money. If this restaurant were located in the city center, it would surely be a hit. I highly recommend it.
