フィードバックを提供するWe had just arrived after a long drive and thougt we'd stop off at Leura for some dinner. Bon Ton was the third restaurant to turn us away because we didn't have a booking, despite having plenty of available, empty tables.
Sad place, perhaps because it was raining, friendly service, dishes without enthusiasm, the rest of the reviews speak for themselves, nothing that happened by chance but I don't feel like recommending it!
This place was nothing special. The meals were fine but it was pretty expensive for what you got. The service was really good though.
We enjoyed a delightful luncheon at this venue on Bastille day. The decor and ambience of the restaurant is relaxing and pleasant, with the tables and chairs reminiscent of French provincial.Although the menu for lunch was not really of true French fare , which was a disappointment considering the special French day, it did have good choices for a light meal. The wine list was particularly interesting with a good selection of French and Regional Australian wines, with the occasional New Zealand and even a Spanish selection. We chose for our meals the spiced lentil and vegetable chunky soup, with bread, and the seared peppered Kangaroo warm and cold salad - which was special. We followed with the three cheeses platter - good servings of very tasty cheeses and accompanied with sliced apple and slices of a fig and nut roll. Perfect! Our wines were glasses of a French Champagne to start, followed by a Chardonnay from Burgundy and a Cote de Rhone . Viva la France! The service was most efficient and attentive , and because we made a reservation, we were located on a reserved table adjacent to the fire place.A negative was that the bill had a substantial overcharge mistake, which should have been detected without us recognising an obvious error. We would return again for a luncheon treat at this restaurant in Leura. Recommended.
In spite of being booked up they opened up the upstairs for us and let us in. Great service and good food.
