The Golden Bamboo - Letpandan

The place is closed to Lawkanandar pagoda and very cozy. You can try Chinese food, variety of Myanmar traditional dishes and fresh juices. They have a very good service here and very friendly. The food is taste good and inexpensive. Budget friendly for everyone. Definitely recommended.

Food was very good but portions for meat dishes were kinda small. We even order 2 portions of some of the dishes. Price was very reasonable, in fact the cheapest meal in bagan despite double portions! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a casual home cook local food.

This might be the best place to eat in New Bagan! The restaurant has a very nice and beautiful atmosphere and it’s totally clean! Many local families also come here to eat. The food quality is just awesome and the variety of what they offer is noticeable. Although it has all the good things and you might expect same price range as other recommended one in your guide books, here is extremely cheap!!! 2 people can have meal including drinks only for 3-5$. Best natural juices and drinks are available in best price Just don’t miss this place. Thanks for the good service.

Not too much good. A little dirty but they want to target international traveller. They are cheating the price also. It is not the good shop.

The food here was pretty nice and the staff were very accommodating. Someone in our party wanted something not on the menu and they were kind enough to make it for him. There are limited vegetarian and vegan options on one of the menus, but they actually have two menus, so be sure to ask for the menu with the vegetarian section if you are veggie or vegan. I got the hot and sour tofu which was nice but very hot!
