Asahi Japanese Grill - Lenoir City

I had the worst hibachi experience ever. The meat tasted old, and I hardly received any mushrooms, plus I didn't get the zucchini I requested in place of the carrots. After trying to eat the meal, both my roommate and I ended up feeling unwell for the rest of the evening. I'm really disappointed, especially after hearing so many positive reviews about this place.

Everything is great, and they have a drive-thru, so I find myself stopping for dinner at least once a week on my way home from work. For vegetarian options, they cook to order, so there are plenty of choices if you're looking for veggies. Parking is available behind the building. It's also very kid-friendly, and wheelchair accessibility is provided as well.

I ordered the steak and mushroom hibachi plate and it was pretty dang good!

We love this place. I always get the three meat steak, shrimp chicken w/ 2 shrimp sauces. My husband always gets scallops in place of chicken. It's always fresh. They have a drive-through, which is really convenient. Drive up, order, and in a few minutes, you're off. Thanks for the Great food and Great Service! We never had a bad experience here.
