Rifugio Venini - Lenno

Sat here in summer 2019 and had a fantastic experience. I just went to lunch and a walk so I don't know how it is to spend the night, but that was nice walking there the day. after a short walk my friends stopped at the refugio to get some water and stayed for drinks and ripening. the ribs were the best I ever had (with the ribs at refugio rehearsal) and the intention was atem. the owner of the refugio, who served us, was very nice and we stayed for one because to chat and sweat with him and another local wanderer we met there. it was a very good way to spend the afternoon

Incredible location above the como see. fantastic view of the como bein and colico bein of como see. the hotel is located in a very panoramic position, close to a sternwart, is the perfect destination for mountain lovers. young people manage the restaurant, very good service, fast. and friendly for the customer, but. foods are catastrophe. the meat and raw material are good, but no cooking experience and really very bad restaurant. even the house wine is not at the level of this beautiful mountain hut, it is a pity that they do not have a good eating and good quality taste in so beautiful location. the spezzatino and the Brasato dishes are something like goog served in a king of suppe. polenta not bad, but after an order it is finished. they probably only cook small qualtity, even if a big visitor comes to this. I hope they will improve in a short time, otherwise there is no way to eat again, it is better to have some food in their backpacks!

The night here and loved her. very simple and simple but clean, well managed and friendly staff. we had breakfast, lunch and dinner and eating and wein were great, healthy and plentiful. had some great walks and a nice cozy evening in the...restaurant great worth and a fabulous experience. will return definitiw.

At one of the mountain peaks, monte galbiga, after climbing on mtb from argegno, its appreciation! spectacular view, honest Italian rural cuisine and nice people. I tried un tagliere with excellent local cheese, prosciutto and salami.

We hiked about 4 miles from Rifugio Boffalora, which was a very pleasant walk and ended up at Rifugio Venini. The restaurant has wonderful views and you can walk up and over the ridge to see some even more spectacular views down the other ridge...to the northern end of Como. The food is typical Rifugio style, limited and hearty, but the service was very friendly and the setting was wonderful, though rustic. Highly recommend the hike to and from Rifugio Venini too!
