This place is awesome. An old fashioned Grandma's home styled setting. So much down home style atmosphere. The people are so friendly and helpful. While I was outside taking pictures of the establishment, The older gentleman who made my sandwich actually came outside and handed me my order. I call the real personal service. I knew about this place for over 40 years, but never visited it until today 10/08/23. The security bars on the windows threw me off. It's a Gem in disguise. I wish I would have visited this place over 40 years ago.

This place is unbelievable that I just discovered this place, but in San Diego since I was a child I can?t believe I didn't know it before. The selection is great the soda is fun. I love the rye bread. Two full meals in every sandwich and I'm a big guy. A must try.

This place is aaaaaaaamazing!!! Really fast and friendly service, the sanwhiches are stacked up and full of meat! The drink options are amazing as well, they have all kinds of root beer and other sodas to choose from as well as a great chip selection. I will be making this a weekly thing ?.
