Frida Cacao - Leiva

This chocolate shop was recommended to me by a local. It offers an extensive selection of chocolates (also chocolate tea, hot chocolate). Nice presentation in hand painted tins. Great gifts, if you can resist the temptation to eat the chocolates before your return home!

I can't say enough good things about their chocolate. It is truly handcrafted by the owner with the best ingredients...at very reasonable prices. Must go while in Villa de Leyva!

The owner is the one always telling you a little more of all his creations! She loves talking to people and introducing people to new flavors. She even gives you a cup of cocoa tea while you browse her shop. The prices are a bit...high but the quality is excellent. I take all my visitors and friends there to buy local fruits made into truffles and delicious chocolates!!
