The people here are great. They welcome you no matter where you are from. They talk, play dice games, and other games and welcome you in. Food here is great. Come for great atmosphere. This is the place.

Avoid this place at all costs unless you are just calling in for a drink! We passed by here once stopping for a drink and saw that the pub served food it all looked a very homely style pub so we thought we would bring our family here for a meal one Sunday. What a mistake!!! We waited ages for a table which we had booked in advance, waited ages for our orders to be taken, waited ages for the meal to turn up which turned up without any veg which we had to wait a further five minutes for after the rest of our dinner had been delivered to our table. We had to laugh when they finally got round to asking us if we fancied dessert NO THANKS!

This is one of our local pubs. Very friendly staff and good real ales. Stuffed field mushrooms with couscous are delicious. Reasonably priced meals. Homely atmosphere. Car park, outside seating.

We visited in early October for lunch. It was very quiet out of season, the service was very good and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I had a butternut squash risotto with feta cheese and pumpkin seeds. My husband had Jamaican mutton, with coconut rice, flat bread and mango and spring onion chutney. It was all delicious, we tried each others and liked them both very much. Service: Dine in
