The Woodman's Stroke - Leicester

We didn't dine since the pub doesn't offer food in the evenings. As always, Simon and his staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient. The Vixen ale was excellent, and my wife loved her white wine spritzer. We sat in the patio area, which provided a lovely continental vibe.

This fantastic authentic pub is located in a charming village in Leicestershire, making it a real gem in a unique setting. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly, and the food, which is served only at lunchtime, feels like home-cooked goodness and is prepared and presented to a high standard. Whether you sit inside or outside, the entire experience is top-notch. Additionally, dogs are welcome in the outdoor area, and there are ample parking facilities available.

We sat outside for drinks on a rainy evening! Lovely covered outdoor area with patio heaters, the tables were well spaced out. The service was very smooth, the staff did a great job of ensuring everyone was served quickly and in a polite and friendly manner. Will definitely be back, thank you!
