Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican - Lehi

Just received the worst customer service here I’ve ever received at a Cafe Rio half of the items weren’t ready for full service, staff was giving out dirty looks, and messing around in the back. Would recommend another location!

It’s a cafe Rio. Nothing special makes it stand out. Foods good, but pricey now. A salad cost $12 before getting a drink or anything else. The servers were nice, food selection was normal, and they are trying to add new flavors and concepts to the menu but at the end it’s all the same food, just dressed different. Burrito is rice and beans and meat rolled up, salad is the same rice and beans and meat just not rolled with romaine lettuce on top, tacos are the same just in to foldable smaller tortillas. All good food don’t get me wrong, but it’s expensive now to eat out anywhere.

The one negative that I saw with my last visit to Cafe Rio was before closing, as I was still inside the restaurant, the manager was spraying cleaner or a polishing agent up above the vented area and there was food that was uncovered below and the over spray was hitting the food. Unacceptable, management knows better. Do better!!! Stephanie store. Get better management also at the Horizon and Horizon location. I stopped going there because management has changed and there have been so many young individuals there that don't seem to know what's going on. I love this location but won't go there because of the change in management !

Alondra totally rocks! She made a great burrito and has the biggest smile while she helped me!

Portions are terribly small, got a burrito last time and thing was barely filled with anything. Thought maybe a salad would be better this time. Even worse, got maybe one scoop of lettuce and it’s hardly even cut, just huge lettuce chunks. Took me 2 seconds to eat it cause I can’t even mix all the 2 peace’s of meat they gave me with it, will not be comin here ever again
