Pho La La - Lees Summit

Discovered this restaurant over a year ago have been pleased with the overall quality until today’s dine-in experience. We ordered 2 bowls of Pho 2 waters. Upon paying the bill there was a surprise mandatory 18% gratuity added to the bill. This is unacceptable in a store front restaurant like this in Lee’s Summit especially when you don’t get any service. The server just dropped off the bowls of Pho you’re expected to get your own drinks refills. However you do get a little extra for this added gratuity since the Pho cook was tasting all of the Pho soups that were cooking with the same plastic spoon repeatedly. There’s too much competition out there especially with the Thai Spice restaurant just steps away from this store front establishment.
