A hidden gem just on the outskirts of leeds, the Cardigan Arms is a beautifully restored Victorian pub which is owned and run by Kirkstall brewery. The beer is always on top form and the food is very good indeed. If you haven't been go Now, now, go on get going.

Love this pub! It always has a warming atmosphere and I love it being Kirkstall Brewery, the pints are always on site. The decor is in place, you feel like you're going to a real old alcohol. The staff was always kind when I visited. I'm still here to eat, but I have no doubt that it will be good!

I honestly cannot remember that last time I enjoyed a Sunday roast, so much I enjoyed the Sunday roast at Cardigan Arms in Kirkstall. That was extraordinary. When I came in there, 3 people were in front of me who had booked a table, fortunately it was not excessively busy and one of the very friendly staff asked the cook if he would take a walk, (I) to the very grateful he said yes. I ordered the Lamb Sunday roast, was very quickly served by another friendly and helpful staff, food came fast (about 10 minutes waiting) and I could not believe how much taste there was. It didn't look like saying a Toby Carvery, and that was a very good thing, presentation and taste 10/10. This cook deserves a Michelin star if he doesn't have one or two of them, which would surprise me if he didn't. I enjoyed it so much, I did something I never did, I bought a drink to the chef. I would recommend visiting Cardigan Arms, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and it is a very nice atmosphere inside. Amazing! Just for the record, I had already begun to puck into food before I remembered making a picture. Presentation was better than in the picture. My fault!

Loves this pub, lots of parking around the back. We usually go to the Kirkstall Bridge, but we thought we would give Cardigan Arms to Sunday dinner, it was nice. Service was great, the pub itself is beautiful, it has a really old feeling and tons of original features. We'll definitely go back.
