Fugu - Lecce

It was a little expensive. But the food was VERY good. The soup excellent. The shusi very very good.

Ordered a lot of sushi while in lockdown. Thought I'd treat myself and BF. The sushi was between tasteless or fish too fishy. I don't know how to explain it...just a neutral fishy tasting sushi.

We are I Lecce for 30 days and have dined here twice in the first half of our visit. The gyōza dumplings are great, spring rolls as well. During this second visit I had 3 pieces of sashimi, very fresh, very good! We also have had 4 different Thai noodle dishes and have been quite flavorful. The chocolate cake (hot like a soufflé and pistachio ice cream is a must! Very friendly and efficient staff. Our checks have been around 70€, including a bottle of wine, fairly good value to quality in my view. We'll probably eat here again in our second half of our trip!

The basics (sushi) are great. The advanced things (ramen) are just OK. And the Thai section of the menu is not authentic at all. Still enjoyed our dinner. Overall good.

Looks great from outside....but...you are instructed to use your phone to access the widely varied menu via their website... were unable to understand the menu in Italian..gave no alternative option...our waiter didn't assist with navigating either but another waitress did for an adjacent table.
