O Panda - Le Pontet

There are three Asian buffet places near to each other in this part of Avignon, and we decided to try the 'O Panda ' one, which I believe is a chain of restaurants. Plenty of parking available, and the decor was impressive. We got there for around 7.30pm and were quickly seated, and the staff took our drinks order. I have read some of the reviews for this restaurant, and from my experience, the food and hygiene was fine. There is definitely enough to eat and enough variety there was raw oysters, snails, and shrimp available; there is also a station where you could ask the cook to grill raw ingredients, like steak or large prawns; to stir fry stuff, or ramen/soup dishes. Some of the food I did find tasteless like the sushi, which was a pity. All in all, an okay experience, and hit the spot. The cost per adult was €24 that evening, with children under 10 €13 which was okay value for money.

The theme of the restaurant is brilliant (especially if you like manga and anime or things like hello kitty). The food was really nice and a great selection of all courses (chocolate ice cream tubs were amazing). Highly recommend although very meat and fish heavy so not good for vegetarians or vegans.

Really enjoyed their wok and fresh food section. Good place for families with kids, friends and colleagues. Wide food selection. They only offer teppanyaki for dinner buffet.

Disappointed, less choice than before especially in desserts. The waiters pressed for drinks. 3 servers appeared in 5 minutes.
