Meilleur Siecle - Le Poinçonnet

We were so very pleased to have this restaurant back. They had been closed for nearly a year due to horrible damage with the hail in 2022. We love the food. The family run restaurant has always been one of our very favourite places to go for lunch. Service is excellent. The hosts have always got an eye on the self service units. It is exceptionally clean and hygenic. What more can I say, the food is super quality.

The Meilleur Siècle Asiatic restaurant in Le Poinconnet is a buffet style eat all you like for €12.50 including drinks of mineral or still water or vin rose. The selection is outstanding and the freshness unparalleled . The attentive staff busy themselves constantly renewing the dishes and taking away empty plates both from the tables and buffet. The choice of ice cream numbers at least 8 flavours. Can't wait to go again.

We were in Chateauroux shopping. Lunch time, lets go into Meilleur Siecle. Well it was buzzing. We were shown to our seats, and we ordered a pot of Jasmine tea for two. Then looked over the buffet. As usual, there was plenty of choice, cleanly presented and constantly monitored by the staff. We noticed that there were no 'wok ' vegetables these are yummy, we mentioned this to the staff. (they have started to put out the dreaded 'Haricot beans ' so not Chinese, for the French!! A plate of freshly prepared vegetables was bought to our table within a few minutes of asking they were scrummy. The staff are always helpful, smiling and attentive to the cleanliness of the serving areas. We do enjoy going in this restaurant.

Good reception, very pleasant, fresh and very good product, lots of choice and copied. I look forward to reopening

Even if the establishment is poorly located, the food is very good, and the atmosphere is pleasant inside.
