If you want WiFi and espresso, look elsewhere. If you want an incredible conversation, decent brew coffee and an experience like no other, then stop. The owner here is one in a million and I hope to speak with him again one day. Its collection of antique lines the walls, and there are some real treasures. Ask for stories about some of the articles, but don't ask if one of them is for sale. It's not.

Had the beautiful owner here last year and had some of his delicious $1 coffee. In today's time to check to make sure that he is okay and hoping that this unique gem is still open. Wishing you and your business all the best during the pandemic and is happy to see you open again soon.

Small coffee and bookstore ran from the most amazing man ever. Big stories and stories from the owner. Don't worry. This place is worth it. This man isn't in for the money. Coffee just $1 and free refills.

Today we hunted with our California visitors to Le Claire to visit what we thought was a bookstore. To our surprise it is really a coffee shop and because of the pandemic, was closed for customers. Fortunately, we were not turned away, but got a look into the shop and its treasures. Thank you. Gregg! You were so informative and friendly. We hope to stop for more conversation and maybe a coffee sometime!

In our recent visit to Le Claire we found that this gem of a coffee shop was closed due to the pandemic. That was sad! Because we sat down with the owner Gregg after watching numerous residents of this beautiful town stop to visit him. What an amazing historian of the town. This store has been in his family for over 75 years! We hope to return for the grand reopening for some coffee!!
