Nielsen's Frozen Custard - Layton

It's an ok custard. It was smooth, but with a firmness that made it less creamy than other custards. The chocolate flavor was very faint and the only choice of cone was a store bought sugar cone. In addition, the machine noise from the custard machine and others was so loud and annoying, it felt good and quiet to leave the store.

Ran by high schoolers. My 6 plus concrete chocolate custard with 4 toppings(they forgot one and had to remind them) was melted. Total chaos. I think the kids from the first peter pan movie would do better. In from California visiting family. Unsatisfied by the instore service so going to try and order from drive-thru. We'll see how this goes. Management spend the on quality trained supervision so your store runs better. Drive through was worth it. Solid custard by itself was better. Faster through drive thru too

Choc cake batter tasted just like cake batter. Yummy. The staff was very patient with my indecisiveness as the menu is large.

I've only had the frozen custard but i found it to be quite good. really smooth and creamy. the service is good and decently fast. i usually go thru the drive thru so i can't really comment on the ambiance but i will go back.

This is great stuff, but not affordable for the commoner. This $10.16 product has priced itself outside of the market.
