Pancake House - Lawrenceville

I really wish I could give this place zero stars. Let me first say that my experience was terrible here. From the moment we came in. The hosts looked like he didn't want to be there, no greeting, sit us and not even a welcome. The waitress was good, I can't complain about her sweet lady. The food was okay, not great! Place is not clean. Cherry was up there to find a cherry or ant that crawls pancakes from my sons into his butter! And it was MOVING!!!!!!!!! When we were ready to leave my mother, decided to inform the waitress about what had happened. She paid the bill and we were ready to go. When I signed the manager's reception? My mother and I talked to her and she insisted? she knows what they have and what they don't have in the restaurant? also said that it was a chocolate chip my son had simple pancakes. My niece had chocolate pancakes. Have fun! I don't know what she thought, because we have the ENTIRE BILL BEFORE she did to us. It should have apologized and continued the refund professionally. We did not ask for a refund, it insisted on paying back the money, which is the only right one. I wish she had handled the situation differently, instead of refunding the money and telling us we were lying about what happened. Thank God I decided to show her a picture. With image and everything she still didn't agree what's okay. It must be replaced by a professional. I added a picture to this review. I'm not coming back to this place.

The food wasn't good. They were cold in the middle. The eggs were... I don't know what's going on. Pancakes fell apart, they smeared Bland. I thought it was different because the name of the place is called Pancake House. Also, large bottom stop let the waiters hang in a corner. They all saw their phones all the time when we were there, they lost on their phones and are not attentive.

Well, they serve more than just pancakes... Nice family run place. Clientele is mostly families and retired folks. I ? the Eggs Benedict. It 's Benny Time! Much better, faster, friendly, and affordable than IHOP. 3 billion times better than Waffle House. Only drawback is that they close early. It also gets packed (around 10:30) with the after church crowd on Sunday.

I've been to a LOT of breakfast places around town and this is easily my favorite place to go. The food is GREAT. Sure there might be fancier places with a higher cost to justify it as well. But for a simple delicious breakfast that's easy on the wallet, i have a hard time recommending a better place.

I had the shrimp and grits Delicious! My husband had the biscuits and gravy with grits and sausage Delicious! My best friend had the steak omelet Delicious! Her husband had the t-bone steak Delicious!
