Mccray’s Tavern Lawrenceville

This establishment was selected by my neice for her college graduation brunch. Our waitress was great, she helped me with selecting a dish. The Crab cakes were very tender, the dipping sauce was tasty. I wanted a stiff drink but I had to drive back home I75 South) out of Atlanta.

Never had a problem until tonight, 12/01/23, ID was rejected since I still had my old vertical ID. I don't have trouble at other bars, didn't have trouble at this bar until recently. Not particularly a big problem since there are plenty of other bars on this street, but hey. It feels bad to be turned down when you have legal identification.

Came in with my fiancè to enjoy something to eat before heading to the Lawrenceville Art Center. Idk if the server had too many tables but I went quite a while without seeing her and even longer for getting my burger fixed. Been here before with know problem but our most recent visit will make us think twice before coming back. Especially for the amount of money spent here.

My friend and I went to Mccray 's Thursday night for dinner, I ordered the chicken parm and he got the meat dish. His meal was a little undercooked and our great waitress Toy apologized and repaired this for us. I didn't get the name of the cook, but he came to our table to apologize and remove the meal from our bill. I think it was great to do that. I was pleasantly surprised with the chicken parm while my friend was waiting for his dish to come back, I gave him a taste and he was also impressed. I loved the chicken gun. I will definitely remember getting that back when I come back. Please tell Toy, Samanta and Moses said hello

I had the cookies and Gravy with a spicy **** Mary. Delicious brunch and great service!
