Sylas And Maddy's Homemade Ice Cream

Everything you expect in a traditional ice cream store. Real ice cream in a variety of flavors. Cups or cones or sundaes. Every time I've been here there's a line, but it's worth the short wait. Be aware there is only on-street parking nearby.

This place is bright and clean. It has gender-neutral restrooms with a changing table. The inside is spacious, the servers are super friendly, and the choice of flavors was amazing. Obviously a neighborhood favorite, there was always a line at thecounter, but it moved quickly, while giving us plenty of time to make our selection.

The best ice cream I've ever tasted! I can't stop thinking about the day I'll return to Lawrence just to enjoy it again. It was the final treat I had before leaving after spending five incredible years in this city. I really wish I could go back every single day.

The ice cream here is outstanding, and the waffle cones are simply delightful! The staff is friendly and attentive, and despite the always-present line, service moves quickly. The medium waffle cone is generously filled for everyone! The ice cream is incredibly smooth and creamy, and the freshly made waffle cones are a treat. I particularly loved the pumpkin pie and turtle flavors! The pumpkin cheesecake was packed with large chunks of cheesecake, which was a delightful surprise. The boys enjoyed butter brickle, Reese's, and butter pecan, and they vanished in no time, so they must have been delicious! We all had a wonderful time, and it was the perfect way to cap off our evening together in downtown Lawrence. It was so good that I forgot to take any pictures!

Homemade masterpieces transformed into ice cream! There are so many different flavors to choose from, including unique chocolate-covered cones. The place is somewhat tucked away in Lawrence, right next to a soda shop (which also offers some interesting flavors worth trying). Definitely a 10/10; I highly recommend it!
