23rd Street Brewery - Lawrence

This place is close to my neighborhood so we go quite often and have for nearly a decade.

I have never had a bad meal here I have also never had a fantastic, out of this world meal here, either.

In a word, "meh." Waitress wasn't super friendlyI had to tell her I was ordering food for my child (she didn't even ask and started to walk away).

Not only is the food amazing, but the service is outstanding! We had a lunch order of over 40 people for my job and I was notified the day prior to start getting things put together. Matt and Chelsea were such a big help! They labeled each containerwith that person's name and even hand delivered the orders we were missing. I can't thank them enough for their patience,understanding and haste with this large order. We will definitely return for future business lunches.....hopefully without thelast minute notice. :

Don?t get take out from this place. I never will again. I have eaten the fish and chips there before and loved it. Take out was one over cooked ?fillet? and a ton of fries. They told me 25 minutes. It was cold when I got it home which is 3 minutes away.I?m sorry I gave them a nice tip, considering all they did was their job and not very well at that. There was no serviceinvolved. I am horribly disappointed.
