My wife went to eat here with a friend and came home violently sick with food poisoning. Would not go here. We eat sushi regularly and never have had this issue. She is very very sick. Everything coming out BOTH ends for her. Obviously some very bad quality fish or unclean kitchen. Update: still soooo sick. Dehydrated and going to emergency room at 2:45 am.

Great little understated place off the strip. Definitely need a reservation, but it's well worth the planning ahead. Casual environment, food served as soon as the chefs finish a plate. All the food is fresh and delicious. We really like the spicy tuna tar tar and waffle fries and the amberjack crudo to start off the dinner. The style of how you would get the food was unique. I would say its some what like a coursed meal. Everything we ordered had great taste, and great quantity. Sushi rolls were the bomb. Japanese fried chicken and deviled eggs were excellent. Every dish was fantastic and our waiter was incredible, every recommendation was on point. If you are looking for a great spot away from the lights of the strip, make this your destination.

The food was terrific! Between 4 of us we had about 8 dishes, everything was amazing, the crispy chicken was some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. Tried this place for a birthday party. It was okay but did not knock my socks off. They no longer have a happy hour or a chirashi bowl. I tried the sashimi combo. Again, it was okay but after all of the rave reviews I was expecting more. Just seemed average. They don't even give you rice with the combo, you have to order it as a side for 3 bucks. Would have preferred a chirashi bowl.
