The banh cuon and banh beo were decent. The restaurant is a bit overpriced considering the casual atmosphere. Overall, not worth making a return visit for.
The food is delicious! The banh mi is a must-have for the road trip back. It's probably the best I've ever had. The prices are also very reasonable. I appreciate that they open early. I would definitely recommend this place.
Rating: 4.6/5 (dine in) We arrived 20 minutes before closing time, but we were still seated without feeling rushed. The service was good and our food came out quickly. While their prices are higher than other California Vietnamese restaurants, the food was absolutely delicious! Bún Thang ($13.95): I requested clear flat rice noodles instead of the usual egg vermicelli, and it paired perfectly with the broth. The broth was amazing, one of the best I've had. You really don't need any sauce besides the samba chili if you like it spicy. They give generous toppings and protein. I had never tried this dish before, but I loved it. My only issue was that some of the shredded chicken was a bit dry. Banh Beo ($11.95): Banh Beo served in California is usually quite basic, but here they were generous with their fillings and toppings, giving it much more flavor. The nuoc mam was great too, making it better than most places. Xoi Man ($11.95): This dish was a pleasant surprise. It may look ordinary, but when you take a bite of the sticky rice, it's sweet and coconut-flavored! It paired well with the savory Chinese sausage and chicken, and for an extra flavor boost, add some nuoc mam. Highly recommended!
Excellent authentic Vietnamese foods and ice cold Vietnamese coffee with a friendly staffs. IYou can go wrong at this small restaurant. Just bring an appetite and patience when you arrive, especially during the lunch rush.Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly service and nice atmosphere, however it’s a small restaurant.Parking: It located in a big plaza with plenty of parking spaces.
The restaurant is tiny! I moved here from Texas and I have been having a hard time finding good Vietnamese food. While Vegas has many Vietnamese places, it doesn’t mean they’re all fabulous. The service here has always top notch. My fave dishes here are the banh cuon and the egg rolls. Out of this world
