Capital Seafood Jīn Dōu Hǎi Xiān

I began my meal with hot tea and egg rolls. The tea was very refreshing, and the egg rolls were delicious when dipped in the fish sauce, which was a better match than the sweet and sour sauce that was offered. The fried pig intestines were definitely an acquired taste. The House Special Crab, which was 3 pounds of meat coated in their signature sauce, was impressive, but at around $90, it felt surprisingly pricey. I also ordered sautéed Chinese broccoli and steamed rice, both of which were quite enjoyable.

Clearly not the run of the mill Chinese place.. We had a reserved a big table. As always, best is to order a few dishes and everyone shares. It's always large quantities. The food is very average. Soup had too much ginger taste. Tasted horrible.Lobster was cooked so differently, making it very hard to eat. It's probably a treat for those who are good with their handsonly, not using utensils. Can't comment on the vegetable items. I am a strict non-vegetarian. Frog legs were good. Salt andpepper shrimp was fairly good.

The food here is delicious, and they close at 8:30 PM. It’s actually a Vietnamese restaurant that also offers some Chinese dishes. They serve a variety of Vietnamese food, including Pho. The decor is quite simple. The service isn’t very good, but if you’re Vietnamese, you’ll likely find the service to be much better. It’s not because they are being discriminatory; it’s just that their English isn’t very fluent. That’s pretty typical!
