Bob Taylor's Ranch House - Las Vegas

The service is wonderful, but the food just tastes like it's made without love. For a place that's been around since 1955, as stated on their menu, one would think they'd perfect how to cook with love and purpose, and make steak that's worth the price. This is my second visit, and I just don't think I will be back.

I gave 3 stars cause the lobster was overcooked, chewy, I splurged and ordered the lobster with my ribeye steak which was tender good quality I didn’t want to complain or send it back cause our server was the best, she didn’t overcooked it also ordered crab stuff mushrooms appetizer another no winner they were small portions and too much cream sauce the baked potato was not hot just warm But our server Logan was 5 stars! They have good lunch prices and steaks are delicious just don’t get the lobster

The food was great. The steaks were cooked perfect and just as we ordered. If your looking for fancy, it's not that but it's comfortable and relaxed. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. It was my first visit and won't be my last.

Seated in back at a tiny table people came in after us ate, paid and left before we got our drinks or ordered. Saw our meal placed for waitress and it sat for 25 minutes before brought to our table mine was so cold I could pickup up the metal sizzle plate barehanded sent back twice but was STILL cold. Got the manager over and complained about our seating, the total lack of service and the fact that our reservation was for 2 hours and 45 minutes before I talked with him don 't go in with only 2 people our Anniversary was totally ruined and went to a drive thru on our way home refused to pay so we were not charged but he took exception to my comments about their quality of service, seating and food never, ever will I go back LOUSY and extremely high priced with little to no quality!

If you are looking for an old-fashioned casual steak house, this is it. Ribs were cooked perfectly with a tangy barbeque sauce. Salads were crisp and cold. They have lunch and dinner menus as well as a kids menu. Decorated with old cowboy movie star pictures in this old converted ranch house.
