Garduño's Of Mexico Cantina

I stayed 2 nights at Hotel Encanto and visited Garduno several times. The margaritas were great. Breakfast was perfect. But the best part was how very friendly the staff is. Erica and Monica really went by and over every time I was there.

If you are looking for a place to dine during the pandemic that offers outdoor restaurants, a great ambience and speculative food, try MEZCLA at Hotel Encanto. Your friendly staff, excellent service and culinary delights make it the perfect place to enjoy a little time away from home. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast and look forward to tasting more of Chef Spring's unique menu items.

It seems that the restaurant has been taken over by new management and staff, as the food quality is truly exceptional. One of the diners in our group is a former chef, and he was genuinely impressed by the outstanding preparation and presentation of our meals. My small group of six sampled several entrees from the menu, and every dish was delicious! The drinks were fantastic, particularly the Margaritas—absolutely amazing! The service was top-notch as well. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience, and I will definitely recommend this hidden gem to my dearest friends.

1. The lemonade at Garduno's was freshly made and absolutely delicious. 2. The steak fajitas were incredible! The meat was tender, and the portion size was surprisingly generous—definitely the best steak fajitas we've ever had. You can choose between a half pound or a full pound, but the half pound serving was more than what we’ve received at other places. 3. The shrimp was just as impressive. Similar to the fajitas, you can order either a half pound or a full pound, but I assure you, the half pound is more than enough for a typical eater, and the flavor was much cleaner and fresher. 4. The pico de gallo was fresh and surprisingly better than what we expected. 5. The salsa was also an improvement. 6. The service was outstanding! While the service at La Posta was good, Garduno’s truly excelled in this area. 7. The location was a bonus—it was not busy at noon, which made for a quieter and more enjoyable dining experience. They have many unique items on their menu, and if you haven't checked it out yet, you can view it online. We can’t wait to return for another excellent lunch! Five stars don't do this place justice.

Really friendly staff. Decent food. Not as good as Albuquerque but it was good. Very convenient that it was in our hotel. Would definitely eat here again.
