El Huarache Loco - Larkspur

This restaurant offers genuine Mexican flavors and dishes in a pleasant, spacious, and clean environment. I particularly enjoyed the huaraches, a dish that isn’t commonly found on many menus. The portion sizes are generous, and there’s plenty of delicious salsa available at your table if you want more. Overall, it’s a great place for excellent Mexican cuisine!

Yes I agree with the other 1 star reviews that the food is not authentic and very expensive, but this is Larkspur Landing... the reason why I left a review because if I complained about their dry enchiladas made withtail tortillas, the person responsible was not offering me something else my money back, so I asked about my money back and he offered me $10 on my $21. I said I didn't eat them. I said they were under the Enchilada that I wanted to show him that he was dry and stable. He argued with me so in front of a number of people I tipped over the Enchilada and began to count shrimps for him. He thought I was cheated. No. That was him. Then he had to hold the line to find my money back. If he had offered to repair it or something else on the menu, he could have kept my money and had not had that bad review.

Super average Mexican food. I ordered Fajitas, which were served cold on a plate and no skill. They had a good taste, I wish it was served hot. There is also no dessert that I think is better.

The food was excellent—fresh and made to order. I enjoyed the cheese enchiladas and cleaned my plate. There are seating options both indoors and outdoors in a lovely garden setting. The service was both efficient and friendly. I would definitely return if I'm in the area again.

You order at the counter and bring the food to your table. Spicy good Mexican food. The Tostada was delicious and the least spicy of our elections. The Huevos rancheros came with a sharp red sauce.
