Domino Sushi - Lappeenranta

Good, fresh, tasty sushi. Warm ones are surprisingly special. Also sushi type deserts. Cocos... was a bit too heavy. Fruit... is little lighter, fresh.

My wife and I (she’s Finnish) eat a lot of American sushi. This place was across the steer from their house. It was really quite good. Prices (for Europe) were reasonable and service was top notch. We were shocked! The six of us got miso soup and shared what I recall the ‘baby platter’. It includes a hot plate and a cold plate of sushi. Plenty for six. We then enjoyed desert rolls. They really liked, but they weren’t my flavor.

I'm not an expert on sushi's, but the ones here were quite good. Maybe the tuna nigiri was a disappointment (tasted a bit bland) , but maybe it's hard to get good tuna here. Tried the eel soup and crab soup. Both were good.

We accompanied a friend who wanted to try this place. Though I am not a sushi fan but my wife and friend found their sushi very delicious and fresh. I tried miso soup and soba noodles both of which were very good. We shared a what looked like a dessert sushi. The service was prompt and very friendly. The owned noticed us struggling with the chopsticks and was kind to make us a beginners chop stick. This was our first time visiting a restaurant that served Japanese food. It was a good introduction to Japanese food.

I would say his best sushi what you can get in the region of Etela-Karjala. I try many different places there and there and in any case you will find nothing better. About prices it is definitely not buffets, but you will certainly get the best bang for the buck. Once I had to wait almost an hour for my order, so from now on if the reservation was checked that there are no delays.
