Italian Corner - Lao Cai

Surprisingly the pizza wasn 't too bad, not sure if it was wood fire though as didn 't see any wood in the pizza oven? Pasta was nice and Staff were friendly.

As it's off the season so no many people go to sapa, however this place is gross from the inside. They kept the kitchen open so we saw what's going on in there. It seemed like no one ever cleaned it even once and it's where they make food for you. We ordered pizza because most of reviews recommended having it there. The pizza came out weird and nasty. The salad was fine. Later in the evening we had diarrhea we knew it was the pizza because in the morning we ate steamed corn and pho noodles and were fine the whole day until we had this meal.

Pizza Vegetarian and vegetarian jumprolls were very delicious! Friendly and fast service. We arrived at 10.15 a.m. and the cook started to cook again especially for us, although he was obviously tired. Thx!

The place had surprisingly good food. I came in after seeing the ratings, but the place was empty and were wondering if I picked the wrong place. But the staff was quite polite and pleasant, and food was good and service fast. Highly recommended for someone looking for a good Italian in Sapa.

We expected a little bit more after reading all the reviews. Service was OK but very slow, we waited almost one hour for our food. The fresh spring rolls very pretty much devoid of taste and the Pizza was OK but who puts BBQ sauce on a Pizza. I guess I will go to Ha Noi for any future pizza cravings.
