We celebrated my birthday at the restaurant, and I had a free entree offer. We ordered the wagyu beef dip along with the house salad, and I enjoyed a Somersby on tap. Later, we decided to try the dessert sphere, which this time was an apple cake and coffee. While we both found the peanut butter sphere to be much better, we were pleasantly surprised to receive it as a complimentary treat for my birthday. Our server, Rachel, mentioned that she spoke with her manager about it, and they decided to celebrate my special day in that way.

I received an email about a special plant-based offer for National Vegan Day, but the restaurant didn't promote it on-site. I expected to see a mention on the menu, perhaps a poster, or some fun decorations highlighting the event. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't even know what I was referring to. She did confirm the promotion quickly, and aside from that, the service was excellent. Overall, I had a pleasant evening, but I was a bit disappointed to see a lack of promotion for the veggie menu items on their website.

The service was good, but the meals were lacking in flavor. The chopped salad consisted mostly of lettuce and was short on vegetables, though the smoked salmon was delicious. The soup was served in a very small portion and appeared to be foamed, probably due to a heat lamp. Three out of four items were overpriced and didn’t fulfill the promises made on the menu.

Great evening. I wish I could remember the name of our server but she was charming and attentive and funny and really added to the experience. Will be dining here again!
