Secretly hidden away place to enjoy time. Reminds me of my home right by grapes steps away. Servers are great and professional. Dining outside or inside, both are great for intimate dining with good friends.

Delicious food for the most part (the mushroom starter was delicious), quick and friendly service. Lovely atmosphere on the outer patio as well.

Last month we took some guests from Austria to Bacchus Bistro. They have a well known family winery in Austria and we thought they might enjoy the Canadian winery experience, as this was their first visit.The gentleman said that this was exactly how he imagined Canad to be! Just the right amount of refined, yet relaxed. The staff was very professional, but also engaging. They felt very much at home and really enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere.

This was a hard one to review as it was recommended by friends and it was my wife's birthday so we were hoping for everything to be exceptional. First let me say this restaurant is part of the Chaberton Winery and the Cabernet Sauvignon we had was excellent! (we bought 2 extra bottles for home . The soups and appetizers were terrific, I had the butternut squash w/prawns soup, it was excellent. For mains one of us had a chicken dish that was very good and we would order again, the rest of us had the beef bourguignon and honestly it was terrible, (we brought most of it home for our dog . The beef was falling apart tender but very stringy and virtually Tasteless the sauce was Extremely Watery with not a lot of flavour (There was really nowhere near enough seasoning . The beef was surrounded by a few veggies thrown in to help fill the serving bowl (Three pieces of carrot and some pearl onions. All meals were served with disgusting very poorly prepared scalloped potatoes, not properly baked and slightly blackened on top. Honestly they made Idahoan boxed scalloped potatoes absolutely gourmet by comparison. These things make it completely unacceptable for a restaurant in this wannabe higher end fine dining. We had desert elsewhere. I truly wish this could have been a better dining experience. I can not recommend.
