Axe & Barrel Brewing Company - Langford

I absolutely love the new atmosphere at this restaurant! It reminds me of the old Log House, but with a more sophisticated touch. The servers are fantastic - they are friendly, efficient, and willing to accommodate your needs. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I believe the menu could use some healthier options, such as the old Taco salad, and more seafood and protein dishes that are not deep fried.

The food was excellent!! I had the lingcod tacos.. Wow! So impressed. The flavour was amazing. I could tell things were prepared fresh and in house. Had the French fries on the side, delicious! The ketchup was obviously house made. Made a gamble on this place and I'm glad we did, would gladly come back when in the area!

Great atmosphere and the French fries are always amazing. Everything else has been hit and miss especially when it gets busy. When the nachos are good they are amazing and when they are not good they are sad. The ribs are the same sometimes super tender and sometimes super tough. The atmosphere and French fries keep us coming back though!

I absolutely loved the cozy log cabin atmosphere of this restaurant. The menu was impressive, catering to all appetites. Our server was genuine, friendly, and clearly invested in ensuring we had a wonderful dining experience – and we did. This will definitely become a regular spot for us in the future.

Good location, nice interior, great menu, excellent service and outstanding food. We sat outside on the patio and had friendly, attentive and most importantly knowledgeable and engaged service. This is a pub that takes pride in making things in house, and the menu was well thought out and had tons to choose from. In house smoked meats were outstanding, the gluten free calamari was a welcome touch, and the nachos were arguably the best I've ever had at a pub. The pork belly tacos were divine, and the house made peach habanero salsa was great, and not for the faint of heart. Great value, great service and amazing food (house beer (kolsch was great too! . 10/10 would eat here again.
