Rafa - l'Ampolla

We visit this restaurant very often. Best oysters and paellas in the area. Wonderful and very kind staff. Las mejores paellas y ostras de la zona. Personal super amable.

For me one the best restaurant of L 'Ampolla. We had some starters like frog legs, calamari, Perugia and the eel toast. As a main dish we had tune (balfago) cert good

I have mixed feelings about this place turning to the bad side: if I could rate this place with 1,5 stars I'd have done it. My personal Odyssey starts with a suspicious lack of information about the prices of the fish. I know that depending on the season and availability you have to add and remove items such as fish, hence the existence of printers (or pen and paper, in case of a tight budget) for that purpose. Regarding the price, it's a complete boloney to not write it. Prices at €/Kg works really well, you know. The waitress was a bit slow at providing information about the products making me think she was a trainee or just unproductive. I ended asking the prices from another person and here is where the interesting part comes: the man, who was kind and helpful, informed us about the prices of each fish type they had for that day and about their sizes so we would order a bigger one more appropriate to fill our tummies. So be it. The big sole first for both of us! I said to the sedated waitress with joy and hunger. After waiting for a long time, which I didn't calculate but felt like more than 30 minutes, we received our disappointing sole. Disappointing because it had such nice flavor but it was supposed to be for two persons and that wouldn't even had filled a manlet. As far as I know a sole can be as big as 1000g in exceptional cases, being the maximum common weight at 400g. I won't bother to talk about the fries since they from a frozen bag. Tl;dr we left with a huge hole in our stomach, wallet and souls. Careful ordering fish not listed.

Tuve el placer de comer en este restaurante y debo decir que la comida fue absolutamente fantástica. Comenzamos con unos deliciosos pescados fritos y chipirones que estaban perfectamente crujientes y llenos de sabor. Luego llegó el punto culminante de la comida, una Paella Marinera fantástica hecha con ingredientes frescos y cocida a la perfección. La combinación de mariscos y especias aromáticas hizo que cada bocado fuera un verdadero deleite. Pero la excelencia no se detuvo ahí. El postre fue una trilogía de sabores, que incluyó un delicioso coulant, un millefeuille y fresa con nata. Cada uno de estos postres era una obra maestra en sí mismo y un auténtico placer para el paladar. No pude evitar saborear cada bocado. Lo que realmente distingue a este lugar es el servicio excepcional. Rafa fue increíblemente atento y súper amable, haciéndonos sentir como en casa. Es evidente que se trata de un gran negocio familiar que se enorgullece de lo que hace. En mi opinión, probablemente sea el mejor restaurante en L'Ampolla, y lo recomiendo encarecidamente a cualquiera que busque una experiencia culinaria memorable.

Un excelente lugar para comer deliciosos mariscos! Lo recomiendo. Nos atendió personalmente el dueño del restaurante Rafa. Definitivamente regresaremos!
