Torrao - Lamego

Great food, huge portions, lovely homemade wine and wonderful service.

We asked for Lamb, 2 doses, and ended up eating skin and bones with vegetables full of oil, Rice (very good and tasty) and potatoes somewhat overcooked in the oven. In the end, just for the bones we payed over 50 euros...so yes, we had lunch for (not with) the lovely view. Not even the full coffee I asked they were capable of satisfying as it came half-full and my daughter asked for an OLA ice-cream, which should have come with a photo menu- cart and credit to the ice-cream maker (so we are not sure if it was something alike but with no brand) came as half the dose normally served. Was this because we are portuguese and they just want to serve foreigners? Well, For all the tourists I may say that if you do want to eat well, the north of Portugal, including Régua, is definatelly a good place to go, just not this restaurant.

Wow what a great experience We came here for lunch and we were blown away our server how low Roberto was terrific The food was so good The wine was excellent The views spectacular everything was great our best experience in Portugal thus far please go to this restaurant ask for Paolo Roberto I promise you won't be disappointed I would give 10 stores if I could but there's nowhere for me to give 10 stars

Nice location, good food and very reasonably priced. Huge servings. Had the steak and the ribs, beautifully!

Equipa 5 Estrelas. Um Restaurante que sabe como receber e cuidar dos clientes, serviço personalizado. Comida DELICIOSA e muito bem servida. Vista simplesmente DIVINAL, por baixo passa o rio Douro. De frente vista para as três pontes e finalmente, vista 3D para o Vale do Douro. É um daqueles restaurantes onde você entra e apetece ir ficando.
